Receive from God Daily

You should receive from God daily. I used to beat myself up when I pray about or for something, feel great about it and then the next day or the next minute I’m feeling deflated, it’s almost like I am right where I started. Over time though, I learned that it’s okay for me to receive from God daily or as often as I need to.

“Give us this day our daily bread.”

Matthew 6:11 (NKJV)

God gives us bread fresh, for every day. It’s okay if you pray today and you feel deflated tomorrow. What’s not okay though is to think because of the way you feel, the prayer you prayed yesterday is no longer of effect and just hands up. In those moments when you feel deflated, pray again. Spend time in His presence. You need to direct your feelings and your thoughts. Don’t accept what you feel or think as final. Subject it to the word of God. Get some music in, listen to a sermon, read scriptures, speak in tongues. Stay in his presence until you find alignment with the word. For every time you feel deflated after praying, don’t give up, don’t throw your hands up in the air. Go back to the Father’s presence and rest there. Usually, we may have wandered from the presence of God and the consciousness of His word hence the deflated feeling and negative vibes. As many times as you notice it, keep going back. The word of God is final, not your feelings or your thoughts.

Cry if you feel like, don’t deny what you feel just make sure you express it to the Father. This is what I try to do. God already knows what you’re feeling and he’s not going to judge you for that or cast you aside for it so feel free to express it. He invites you to cast your cares upon him. Take the offer.

“Is anyone thirsty? Come and drink— even if you have no money! Come, take your choice of wine or milk— it’s all free!

Isaiah 55:1 (NLT)

casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ

2 Corinthians 10:5 (NKJV)

Then the Lord said to Moses, “I will rain down bread from heaven for you. The people are to go out each day and gather enough for that day. In this way I will test them and see whether they will follow my instructions.

Exodus 16:4 (NLT)

for the righteous falls seven times and rises again, but the wicked stumble in times of calamity.

Proverbs 24:16 (ESV)
